Upper Back Pain Treatment and Relief Success Story at Lark Chiropractic

Upper Back Pain, Shoulder Pain, Neck Pain, and Headaches Success Story 1

Upper Back Pain, Shoulder Pain, Neck Pain, and Headaches Success Story

I’ve had upper back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain for the last two years. I’ve also suffered from frequent headaches due to this condition. I’ve gone to physical therapists and even had shoulder surgery hoping for improvement, but without much success. Finally, my doctor recommended seeing a chiropractor and that is when I began seeing Dr. Sharon Lark.

At first I was very apprehensive about this method of treatment, but I knew nothing else had worked, and Dr. Lark seemed to be very confident that she could help me. My first adjustment was very scary and somewhat painful, but within a week or two I was able to move my neck with less pain and I started to feel much more flexible. The adjustments started to feel more natural, like a good stretch, and the headaches became much less frequent.

Besides the regular adjustments, the daily exercises and the spinal molding have helped to keep my flexible and start to build up strength in these areas. Dr. Lark’s advice about using ice for headaches and sore muscles really helped a lot. She also suggested I replace my pillow with a Swedish neck pillow. After the first couple of days I really started to notice a difference in my neck when I woke up in the morning. It was no longer sore, as if I had slept in an unnatural position. After just a month and a half, I am feeling so much better. My back is much more flexible and my neck is now moving very easily and without pain. I have very few headaches and my shoulder muscles are no longer in painful knots. I have begun to lift weights to strengthen my muscles, something I haven’t been able to do in years. I am feeling much better and looking forward to a more healthy lifestyle.

Upper Back Pain and Migraines

I have been seeing Lark Chiropractic for some time. I would get migraine headaches five days a week. So I wanted to do something about it.

One day while I was seeing my massage therapist, she recommended the wonderful chiropractors who really help people. She told me about Dr. Lark at Lark Chiropractic.

So I went to Dr. Lark and they took some x-rays and found out that my neck and my back were not working together like they should, They put me on a program. I started doing my exercises and icing my back. So far I don’t get migraines any more. I do feel a difference in my pain. But I still have a lot of work to do before I get better.

These doctors are very good doctors. One thing I can say remember it took my time to get like this then it will take time to heal. So be patient with the time.

I can recall the first day I came into this offer with my mother. My intentions were to get better but I didn’t think it would happen. As I looked at my posture printout and x-rays, I could not believe there was so much that was wrong. Although I didn’t understand the purpose of what was being done it didn’t keep me from asking.

My lower back was my main problem. I remember going to school not even being able to sit in my seat without being uncomfortable. In most cases, I would have to get up and stretch or walk around. With the pain I didn’t even want to walk around school and if I did I would have to sit down because of the pain. Being involved with softball was hard because I felt things in my back pop and I would just be really sore. It was just hard for me to do anything because it was uncomfortable to be on my feet or sitting down at lot.

Since the first day I walked into this office, until today I have noticed my progress. I have to think without the help of Dr. Sharon Lark how worse off I would be. All

it took on my part was doing the home workouts and coming in for adjustments.
